PART 3. The best places to visit when in Cancun


This is the third part of My Cancun recommendations on what to see and do when in Cancun. We hope it can help to plan your next vacations in paradise!

 25. Río Secreto. In this park you will learn about the secrets of the origins of earth and its evolution. Another door to the sacred Mayan infra-world.

26. Sian Ka’an. The biosphere reserve which name in Maya means “where the sky is born”. Climb the watching tower and feel yourself the king of the world.

27. Valladolid. A small Colonial city in the state of Yucatán, just 1.5 hours from Cancun. You can acquire gold and silver pieces to affordable prices.

28. Selvática. Overflight the Mayan jungle on their zipline circuit, the longer in Riviera Maya. Make ecologic tours in this amazing territory.

29. La Isla Shopping Village. Enjoy shopping in a great ambiance. Take the best pictures at sunset in its lagoon side. This is a “must-do” when in Cancun.

30. Aventuras Mayas. Ecology, nature, adventure and extreme sports along this incredible place called Riviera Maya.

31. Puerto Aventuras. An ecologically planned development with dolphinarium, marina, pier for yachts, and cozy gourmet restaurant and patisseries.

32. Romantic Getaway. We boast many special, secluded retreats, far from the hustle and bustle of the big city. Enjoy here the best of love!

33. Punta Allen. Bahia de la Ascensión has the most beautiful beaches and you can climb the top of the lighthouse to enjoy the views.

34. Croco-Cun. Meet the tender reptils… yes! When they are babies they are tender. This is an ecological-interactive park that will surprise you.

35. El Mirador (Playa Delfines). Without any doubt, the most awestruck beach in Cancun. The turquoise and emerald colors of the sea, as well as the powdery sand will bewitch you.

36. Skydive Playa del Carmen. Observe Paradise from above. An extreme sport in Riviera Maya… only for the most adventurous!

PART 2. The best places to visit when in Cancun


This is the second part of our best recommendations to do and to visit when you come to our spectacular tourist destination, the best in the Mexican Caribbean!

13. Coco Bongo. Without any doubt, the very best of the nightlife in Cancin, with music, dance, performances and lots, but I mean, lots of diversion!

14. Contoy. This is an island inhabited by humans but populated by many species in land and sea. A bird’s sanctuary in the middle of the sea.

15. Cenote Dos Ojos. You’re invited to know a sacred place, considered by the ancient Maya the entrance to the infra-world, the world of the death.

16. Cobá. Its spectacular pyramid Nohoch-Mul is the highest in the Yucatan Peninsula. Climb it! The views from there will let you speechless.

17. Garrafón. Located in beautiful Isla Mujeres (Women’s Island) just a few-minute boat ride from Cancun. There are zip lines over the sea and many other attractions.

18. Mandala. Electronic music, party people, and lots of dance. It is ranked among the best places to enjoy the famous Cancun nightlife.

19. Cozumel. The perfect corner to avoid the hustle and bustle of the big city. And definitively one of the best and most beautiful scuba diving spots in the world: the Great Maya Reef.

20. Xel-Há. A beautiful eco-park located in the Mayan Riviera. Thousands of attractions in land and sea, and the biggest natural aquarium in the world.

21. Ek’ Balam. Its name means “jaguar-star” and features interesting vestiges of Mayan buildings and a cenote (sinkhole) to rappel and reach the crystalline, fresh waters.

22. Museo Maya. The newest in Cancun attractions. In an original snail-shaped building you will find three exhibition rooms with unique pieces of this enigmatic culture.

23. Akumal. The sea turtles sanctuary. A Paradise lost in time where you will have a close and mystic encounter with nature.

24. El Rey. This small archaeological site is located in the hotel zone in Cancun and you will learn more about the Maya civilization.
